… besides intense robotic action?
Blue skies, fast cars, and miles and miles of corn!
Great people, good food, beautiful city! Best venue of the year!
I agree!! It is my favorite competition and city that we compete in!!
Looks like that truck is from Kentucky.
And the Ropkey Armory! Great collection of old military vehicles.
On the way home I saw all the corn. Regular corn, really tall corn, pitifully short corn, and some bushy corn…
Oh wait, those were soy beans.
I thought you said fast cars…
*Relative to the parking lot. Relative to the center of the Universe, they are going somewhat faster.
And I thought the ones you meant were those going in circles every Memorial Day weekend
We also have beans!!

Looks like you were at the same hotel I was at. Thursday evening picture?
I missed the IRI to play with some antique farm machinery in Indiana (it is almost always the same weekend as IRI).

Here I have always been told the FRC teams are bigger… here is what our FTC team came across in Indiana. Only issue is they wouldn’t let me keep any of them.
1943 Ford 9n in the yard everyday, anytime you want to play, come on over…
Needs points adjusted and carb tuned right now.
This year’s feature was Ford. I saw a sweet period correct Lincoln V12 swap into one of those many years ago. Same bell housing, so the swap actually looked quite natural. Any interest?
I have seen them with flathead V8, and neighbor has an 8n with the “FUNK” conversion straight 6, but never have I seen a V12 conversion.
I’m good with the 11HP stock version, enough torque to flip you straight over if the wheels freeze to the ground.
Now we’re talking Indiana Fast.
There’s also a lot of flat. Miles and miles of it.
Oh, and a Coast Guard station hundreds of miles from any boatable water…
We have a surprising amount of lakes that have plenty of space for boating (namely lake Monroe and a few others I’m forgetting).
