Something went wrong with Cyber Tribe’s robot leading to what appeared to be a brown out. However, the problem was apparently too much to fix so a replacement was subbed in. I would like to know what it was.

CAN problem - about half the robot not communicating. If you watch the video, you can see the driver eventually trying to drag the robot by two wheels to the hangar, then painfully finding out that only one climber motor was operational. Could not find the source of the problem (bad connection, wire break, device problem, other?) in the time we had field-side.
Sad way to go down and of course we feel terrible for our alliance partners 180 and 4306. At least 180 was already qualified for Houston (as were we), but I’m sure both partners would have liked that blue banner from possibly the most competitive Smoky Mountains Regional field ever.
We’ll dig in more today at the shop on this issue. Finding the problem might help us improve CAN robustness for Houston.
thanks for the answer, hurt to watch.
Sorry for the double reply but i would love to know what the issue is when you find it. Random failure is something to be avoided.
