What happened to the match videos from FNC Johnston County Event?

So, we were at FNC Johnston County this last weekend and we know that the event was streamed on Twitch (on the firstinspires29 channel) but now the video has disappeared. There’s no archived stream on Twitch, but those expire quickly so that’s not so much of a surprise. But there are also no videos on the First Robotics Competition YouTube channel and that’s odd, since they’ve been available there in the past. Is it just that they haven’t gotten to them yet? I wanted to review our matches with the team and we’ve been able to do that the Monday after competition for a while. Does anyone know what’s up?

Videos weren’t up all weekend. I’m assuming none were taken, or maybe they were taken but never uploaded because of the bad signal at the venue.

Focusing on the proper FI channels, those used to have the VOD’s saved, prior to this year. This was stopped due to DMCA concerns.

FIRST’s clipping/uploading tool works during the event offsite. If FIRST doesnt have them up already, i personally would not be holding my breath.

The Twitch stream was cutting out and restarting basically every 5 minutes; the event was unwatchable. I wonder if this has any impact on the automatic cutting tool.

Maybe so. I’m afraid that my team may have had some effect on that, since they were stomping pretty hard on the bleachers when they were cheering for our matches and we weren’t all that far from the main camera position. Of course, that wouldn’t have had any effect on the other matches, so it may well not have been us either. :grin:

I have videos of all playoff matches, I have 3 up now I can put more up soon. They are of varying quality due to having to cut out where the stream froze. @Strategic Let me know what matches you want and I’ll get them uploaded. Not everything will be in all matches
