If they ever branched back to Epcot for a championship, or semi-championship.
Or more over, if they have a three tiered system in place.
You would win a district/regional, or win an award that qualified you to go, or lottery. Then you wouldn’t go straight to Championships, but something like a middle road that weaves out more teams. Then a few teams go on to compete in championships. This idea will weave out the team that weren’t the best, and still give you more play time. This also stops the 2 world champs ideas, because this will condense the teams going. If this was to be a thing, there would be about 3 “semichamp” regionals. One would be great for epcot. Then the last would be Saint Louis, or wherever champs would be.
In terms of the logistics of actually holding an FRC event at Epcot, it’s not the ideal situation. There are no indoor venues at Epcot that could handle an event, and I think most people would want to avoid tents.
Now, there are good venues in Walt Disney World, mainly the Cornado Springs Resort Exhibition Hall, that could hold an FRC event without struggle. An Championship sized event is still out of the question though. However, A massive double field regional style event is doable.
