What is IT?

Well, I was looking around the internet today and what do I stumble upon but something about IT. Start reading and what name pops into view but that of Dean Kamen. It appears that Deka has something that’s very revolutionary up their sleeves. It’s code named both IT and Ginger or so I gather from the two articles I’ve read. Apparently the invention will be revealed in 2002 but there’s a book going to press about IT even thought the authors don’t know what it is. This line particularly struck my interest: “Credit Suisse First Boston, expects Kamen’s invention to make more money in its first year than any start-up in history, predicting Kamen will be worth more in five years than Bill Gates”. That’s pretty impressive if you ask me. Given the information I’ve read my bets on the Stirling Engine that supposedly can burn any type of fuel (it was talked about in the Wired article back in August) but I’m really not sure at all.
