Personally, my favorite team name has to be the Pascack Pi-oneers.
Not only does the name have pi in it, but the best part is the fact that it has a reference to Pascal, the great mathematician that discovered pi(I think).

Going a little old-school here: Team 73 - Tigerbolt
I know they haven’t been called that in years, but Tigerbolt is the single best name ever. I mean, you take two really cool things (in this case, big cats and lightning), and make a single word out of them that not only flows off the tongue very well, but also sounds like you’re in it to win. How is that not awesome?

1902’s name, Exploding Bacon is by far the best. Not only are the members of the team awesome, as is their robot; but their name, their chant (Oink Oink Boooooooom), and their buttons/pig-on-a-firework logo really gives the team a great image. Team name is more than just a name, but its an image, and 1902’s is, from what I have seen, by far the best!

I agree!! Exploding Bacon is REALLY random. Gotta love it. I don’t know about anybody else but I laughed for about 5 minutes when the announcer on Einstein said something like “Exploding Bacon’s going for the ham”. Kudos to you guys!
