I have become curious about what size the diameter of the rope teams have been using so I thought I’d ask here.

I’m also curious what kind of ropes teams have been using so if anyone could give info on that it would be greatly appreciated!
We’re using 3/4" wide nylon webbing.

I’d like to see this as a poll, so I could confirm that we are the only team crazy enough to try to use the normal 1" field rope
Probably flat webbing. If round, probably 1/4". Those worked best with our prototype. There were some tweaks to be made to the final, and we’ll test all over again.
Quarter-inch round rope. We’re roughing up the bottom and using hook side tape on our side to stick right to the rope itself. Tested it yesterday, worked well.
