What team would you like to be on?

I personally feels like I have found my place with team 469. Amazing students, even better mentors, cool history, 6-7 nationalities (I’m losing the count),…

However, the theme of the thread being where ELSE, I would say 217, because I’d like to see how it is to work in a big group, 451 for their cool eye lens or any California team for all the sun they have down there.

erm…well it USED to be sunny. It rained 43 out of the 45 days before championships.

Me I am staying right here on Team 48. This team has become my second family and I would not trade them for anything. Especially since my first year that I joined the team I did not talk much but through the years on the team I have become more open and talkative. And my second year I became Build Team Capitan including this year, which is my finial year. But I feel that Travis Hoffman likes the way I was my first year on the team.

I want to spend a season with team 135…oh wait… :ahh:

971, Nuttyman54’s team, is in the SF Bay Area.

Mark Twain is credited with having said, “The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.” The line was used in the 1979 movie Escape From Alcatraz, by the Clint Eastwood character. Twain probably never said it, but anyone who ever went to a Giants game at Candlestick park in July can attest that it’s true.

If you want sunny California, try a few hundred miles south.

Wow umm so many teams so little time. 217 and 233 are top of my list. Others include 45,67,1114,111 and 71, I wouldn’t mind 179 either :). I am perfectly content with 1251 though. Although we are only a third year team and not a huge group we are like family and work amazingly well together. We have assembled a great group of students and mentors and have quite a few accomplishments for a young team.

My two cents,
Drew

being on 233 would be neat, 71 would be cool too. but nothing is better (to me at least) than 108. 108 w00t w00t.
also, Buzz, 234, 111 (to see how its done in Chicago), 45, and any team in Hawaii

Let’s be honest… we all love the team that we are on. Being on any team and being able to be a part of FIRST is an amazing opportunity. Most of us can’t imagine not being a part of FIRST.

Seeing that i was told by my team i should join 291 because i was with them most the time i will say Team 291 CIA. Team 365 MOE would also be a nice team to join.

I am darn proud to be on my own team, Team Resistance #86, and will continue to mentor. Another team I have been watching since last year, the MARS team 1523, and I would love to mentor and help them grow along. All teams are different but they all the same thing, FIRST, and thats what makes FIRST great and better than anything else!

I’m feeling HOT HOT HOT!!! Gotta’ love 67. The team is amazing and the people are great too! I’ll never forget “the bus incident” in Atlanta and how awesome their team was about it!

GO 1403!!!

Hmmm even though I’m a rookie, I love everybody on my team, I would NEVER wanna leave! But any other team would probably be 224 'cause I have lots of friends (and family!) on there, team 11 (more friends) and maybe even 1279 because the mom’s are fun to talk to!

shhhh!!!

HAHAHAHA dies of laughter and twitches on the floor that was good.

I am in love with my team. All of it. My mentors are amazing…my team members are amazing…the fact that I’m on a chairmans team…it all just makes me feel very special :stuck_out_tongue: .

But I’m beginning to think that im in love with FIRST in general…if i had to be on another team it would probably be 503 frog force (aweeeeesome team. came so close to chairmans this year…i almost cried. and then i did cry when 111 won…and i dont even know them…) or the killer bees 33 because I adore their mascot :yikes: .

But yes…the bus incident was quite funny. hehe. he almost passed off as a HOT person too…does this make him an honerary hot member?

well he does have HOT clothes

Hmm… I love our mentors… THey are great and do an awesome job teaching and mentoring etc etc. Butttt if i were to jump ship to another team i would go to 1884.
I had not much work to do at LSR and so i hung out and helped them a bunch. Their mentors are great and I love the team sprit they have. Their mentors are also great and loved doing what they did…

ohh my i think i would want to be on spam, 179 swamp,234, or a rookie team just to help them get started and show them the works well atleast all i know and help with the build season and stuff. The reason for the first ones was becuase i have made some great friends on those teams

and hey to anyone who wonders about us when you see us in comp just come join us and we would love to meet everyone just ask tytus or Arefin(lol i spelled that wrong probably) but yeah just come over and we will hook you up sith some pink or you can hook us up with what ever you have.

Ohh yeah if you see tytus as sort of an attachment to ms. p well that is just him hugging her and not knowing when to let go. lol

So this evening I was sitting down looking at college stuff and came to some stuff about CMU. I thought baout robotics immediately an found myself crumpling it up because I realized that I can probably never leave the CircuitRunners organization ever, so out of state=no solution. It may sound kinda dumb, but hey, w/e. The mentors here are amazing and the people here are great.

But if I had to choose, I would probably move to 832, 1414, 1648, or 1746. These teams are pretty much like family to us.

If I had to go out of state, I would proabably like to be on 116, 180, 538, 2-Train, or 47.
After going to Chief Delphi’s team site and reading through what their history is and what all they have done for the community, I feel that my team and myself have ben inspired to help grow FIRST and help others.

I think the fact that he did our “WHO’S HOT!” in the park would make him an honorary member. That takes Guts to do!
