Now that the Republican convention is over, I can go back to repairing the brain cells I’ve lost listening to the mind-numbing speeches of a few choice speakers, two of whom are the Bush Twins. Actually, to be more accurate, I listened to the first quarter of the speech. The other 3/4’s I spent trying to find something to bash my ears with while fast forwarding to see if they were actually going to say something remotely intelligent. From the moment they began speaking, I had reoccuring images of Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton, and other morons floating through my head, and wondering what possible goal they could try to accomplish with the Bush Twins. Maybe to prove that intelligence does, indeed, come from genetics.
Thats kind of well lets just say for some they may be but for many others no. And was i the only one that thought that hurt the whole convention-it was really a pitiful showing-there speech was for like 7 year old girls.
I have to agree with DCA Fan and Corey. I was immensely unimpressed with their speech. I felt as though it was meant to make Bush seem like more of the family man sort of, but it didn’t really work out like that. I felt a tad embarrassed for them to tell the truth.
However, everyone has their speech blunder moments, and I would hope for their own sake that there is more to the Bush daughters than is obvious from their speech skills.
Hope that doesn’t sway your voting… oh, never mind, too late.
Yes, they are hot. But man, when you want to emphasize you family, you want them to seem SOMEWHAT educated. Kinda mis-fired, but it won’t hurt Bush too much, nothing else has anyway.

Yeah, I’ll agree the twins didn’t do that great of a job - I thought Mrs. Bush did an excellent job though, but probably should’ve spoke before Arnold did - man what a speech to follow.
I couldn’t care less who has the more attractive daughter. I’m a republican but there are some reasons that I wouldn’t vote for Bush. I wouldn’t vote for Kerry either but I’m just saying, I’m not a 100% Bush supporter. For one, Bush lied about the war. I know he did. His “goals” with the war have changed so many times. There’s always one more “goal”. It’s oil. I don’t have have a problem with that but just say “I want the oil.”
I wouldn’t vote for either of them because they’re homophobes just because that seems to be what the polls respond best too, which I don’t think is right. Of course, I know very well that it was politics is all about, but it’s still not right. Howard Dean! =/
