What's the use of cooperatition in elims

A though has come to my mind that there is no use for the cooperatiton button after qualification matches. Here is my fun suggestion, what if it turned into a game of chicken. My proposition would be that cooperatition bonuses continue into playoffs in the first 45 seconds. If both teams were to activate the cooperatition button they would each get awarded 3 points. If only one team decides to activate cooperatition then that team would be awarded all 6 points. This would bring a fun element to a unused piece of the game in playoffs.

What if you did:

0 pts if no one pushes it

5 pts to the team that doesn’t push it if only one pushes it.

And if both push it they both get 0 pts, but get 5 points in the following match.

Division final match would be wild. Do you push it to give the winner an advantage for their first Einstein match or do you withhold it.
