I would love to know what size and type of wheels every one oped for this year. Having read many threads over the last three weeks I looks like I might be in the minority by using 6" pneumatic wheels. So what wheels did you choose and what made you choose them?

We’re using two different sizes of wheel - 6" and 4" AndyMark Hi-Grip wheels in a mock tank tread fashion.
12 inch wheels with a lift kit.
4in non-pneumatic wheels here… lots of them… :rolleyes:
That must be a pain to gear down. The driving factor in wheel size for me as the designer was making the smallest possible wheels work. That way we could have a small gearbox with small reductions. I like things small.
At one point, we were at 14 inch wheels, reduced with chains.
Currently (and probably finally) we have 8 8" wheels and 2 4" wheels, all non-pneumatic, three different treads.

Six 8.5" pneumatic wheels, standard drop-center. It’s the first time since 2011 we’ve had more than 4 wheels. Man is this thing heavy…

I suspect that most if not all of the tiny little feet and mecanum responses are from trolls.
We are using 4" mecanum. And I’m not entirely trolling you.
And at least a couple of the flying ones.
