Which battery charger does your team use?

AndyMark recently started selling this NOCO Genius charger which comes in 1 or 3 battery options. The same models may be available from local sellers as well.

Here’s a thread about some of their testing details if you’re interested.

Hi
I saw this product.
It cost 244$ + 81$ shipping to Israel,
and we’re searching for a cheaper deal. (we all ready have one, we just want to charge more batteries simultaneously)

  • Do you have the parts and tools to put your own SB50/SB120 connectors on?
    — If you don’t the AM one unfortunately might be your best deal.
    — If you do then your best bet might be to search local suppliers for NOCO genius chargers and put your own ends on them.
  • What’s your budget?
  • How many additional batteries are you looking to charge?

Other brands/models to look for locally would be:

  1. We use a SB50 connector, but it’s not possible to put a SB120 connector on wire that isn’t a 4 awg cable. If there is a way to connect a SB120 connector to other awg cables with an adapter I would like to know.
  2. Our budget is about 190$, maybe a bit more .
  3. 5/6 batteries simultaneously.
  4. The battery charger we have now is the one of “Dual Electronics”.

If you use SB50 then I would stick with that as it’s the most common connector across FRC, I only mentioned SB120 just incase you were using it.

Unfortunately I don’t have a solution that’s going to meet all of these needs/get you closer without wasting a ton of money on shipping, I would save some money up until you can afford the triple charger from AM :frowning:

I would see if there are other teams in your area that might have old chargers from the KOP they aren’t using any more.
