Who's burnt out already?

Just wondering

Ahh come on! I figured for most of us it would take until the cows come home! I mean I’m tired, I’m stressed, I’m way behind in other aspects of life, but BRING IT ON.

It isn’t so bad right now but it will pick up fast.

FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE!!! i’ll never get burnt out. hmmm… this has made me want to go start i fire. i think i may go make one. Thanks Anton!!!

Hmm, I was a bit confused to as what each of the voting options meant. This could be due to me being beat due to buidin the bot. Its getting good now though, more buiding and sparks, less just talking about it.

I’m just starting!

Let the fire burn everyone!

If you’ve run out, go get some more logs!

-=anton=-

Just a little smoke curling out of my ears. At this rate I’ll easily last until ship date.

Hmm…I’m stressed, frustrated, behind, and sleep deprived…but burned out? Nah! Not yet! Lets get this party started!

Burned out? You must be kidding! FIRST = life. Without FIRST, why wake up in the morning? To smell the solder, step through the aluminum shavings, and hear the sound of drills humming, is the same as a pot of coffee. Sadly I spend most of my time staring at a dimly lit laptop screen for 6 hours a day. But, it’s worth it when everybody on the team lucks to us to make their contraption work.

Peace out

P.S. If anyone thinks that 6 weeks isn’t long enough to build a robot, they should talk to team 237, The Sie-H20-Bots. If my memory serves, they were right next to us in the pits at the New England Regional. I watched them build their robot from pieces in the pits. They did a great job, can’t wait to see what they cooked up this year. Good luck everyone, and remember: HAVE FUN!!!

Darn teachers and their end of semester projects/tests. I have been missing meetings because of them. (oh yeah, and that addicting PS2 game, Tony Hawk 3.) Anyway, now that the semester is over im ready for some robot building!

Wow I just spent the entire day welding a little bit of everything and I caused some things to burn and even burnt some of my shop coat so in a sense you could say yes I am on fire.

We set one of our shop teachers on fire last year. That was interesting.

With 3 jobs and FIRST I have absolutely NO life but I’m dealing well. I’m not burned out in the least bit. Unless you count the students who are bothering me because they don’t listen…

We ran out of MAPP gas…:frowning:
Need to get more.
BRAZE AWAY!!!

I think I am officially burnt out from reading all the CD posts in technical discussion… SO MANY post about the chiaphia motor, drive train, gears… etc. Took me a week of time, but I finally did it!

Woohoo!

Wait… what I am I so happy about…?!? More work to be done on newsletter! Expect one or two sometime next week.
