Hello,
I log on to this forum before anything else. I start looking around and BOOM! I get logged off. Why do I keep getting logged off whenever I try to do almost anything? Whenever I try to post a reply, search the forum, go into the user control panel, go back a page, or nearly anything else, I get logged off and I receive this screen:
You are not logged in or you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
You are not logged in. Fill in the form at the bottom of this page and try again.
You may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else’s post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
All three of these questions I can reply “NO” to. I comply to the re-logging on procedures and I get the screen again. What the heck is going on?
I have had a problem like that in another forum. I had to force my browser (IE7) and firewall to accept cookies from that site and now I have to clear my temporary internet files every two weeks to keep the text editor working. Funny thing is, I didn’t have a problem with it until they updated their forum version. I had updated to IE7 a month before that, so IE7 wasn’t the problem then. Also, other people on the forum weren’t having the same problems. If you use IE, is there a yellow exclamation point in the bottom left corner? I always get that in the other forum, but this one is fine for me.
