So my attempt to order for delivery on saturday obviously failed today… and the first week of build I tried to order extra CIM motors off of IFI, and while it said “Thank you your order has been placed” the website was acting funny, and apparently my order never went in… But everyone else that orders material on my team never has a problem!
I think from now on Im just going to have everyone else order stuff for me, because obviously Im cursed!
Kim, with such a good year last year mcmaster and IFI are only trying to even the field for everyone else …and yes you should have other people do stuff because even as wonderful as you are at all aspects of FIRST you need some support SOMEtimes.
Oh dont get me wrong, my other mentors have ordered 90% of the stuff this year (we didnt just order CIM’s and this one Mcmaster thing)… but it just so happened the two single times I tried to order robot stuff… yeah! Looks like Mcmaster is back up though!
And Ellery I agree… we should see what we can bulk order
I am forbidden for good reason. I was trying to order a few ITEM fasteners, apparently I had the part number wrong because the sales guy called and asked if we wanted to by rail or air. Rail as in a whole train car-ooops.
