Good to see them finally being used.
I am disappointed in the lack of cereal in the serializer…
I mostly watched the back ground. There must be 2018 parts somewhere in the video.
Or pallets of unsold fuel.
Wish I’d stuck around to see this filmed!
So is AM going to change stall torque ratings to numbers of bananas?
Also, if we ever rent field elements from AM and they smell like hamburger and fruit, we’ll know why.
It hurt my soul to watch CIMs be serialized yet it was oddly satisfying/horrifying to watch the cRIO and cards be serialized. Had to send it to my fellow alumni who even remember the cRIO lol
If that’s all that the cRio is good for now, it’s probably time to scrap the ones we still have sitting around. Sigh
I don’t know about that, it’s still a valid controller. Seems like every year I find one in an artprize exhibit or two. Is there anything that makes it not usable?
Couldn’t find one listed for sale for less than $200 (even a bunch of FIRST branded ones)… I wonder if they ever sell?
Not really, but why would you use an old, bulky scientific calculator when your phone is more accessible and does the job better? There just exist better options now; why on earth would you buy a cRIO when a HERO board is cheaper, better updated, smaller, and easier to program?
“This video has been removed by the user”
Guess I’ll never know.
It appears that the video,
if that is still the correct url, has been removed. Maybe you were on to something…
Wait. What do gorillas (like Donkey Kong) eat?
Fruit. Including but not limited to bananas.
What other than robot parts went into the serializer?
Fruit. Including but not limited to bananas.
The answer is obvious.
Power Up is about scoring fruit into the re-used serializers to feed a gorilla at each end of the field. If the gorilla doesn’t get fed enough, LOOK OUT!
Andy Baker evidently knew someone would figure that out, and deleted the video (by thinking about doing so, because he is Andy Baker) to prevent that from getting out.
Hmmm… so it did have 2018 game elements in the background.
FTFY
