We are planning on using the Gear Tooth Sensors from the 2008 KoP with this year’s robot. The sensor uses both a Digital I/O connector to connect to DIO on the sidecar, but it also requires a 12V power supply. Where should this 12V supply be connected?
It should be powered by a 20 Amp branch circuit from the Power Distribution Board.
Okay, that’s about the only place I could think of where we could legally get 12V, but it seemed like serious overkill. Thanks for the confirmation!
