I have been contacted by a 4H leader in Wisconsin.
She and local colleagues have begun using LEGO equipment in educational programs.
She is interested in both creating some competition/scrimmage opportunities for the students; and in finding sources for design patterns the program can use and expand on.
Who can send me contact info that I can pass on to her? I don’t want to insert her email address here without her permission.
Blake,
There is a very strong and active robotics presence in Wisconsin, including FLL. I would recommend you contact someone from MORE Robotics or Kevin Kolodziej here on CD. There may just be a team close by that can help.
Our team (1716) would love to help out with this! It would be a great opportunity to get younger students interested in the field of robotics and technology!! We have been mentoring 1 FLL team, and were hoping within a couple years to greatly increase that number and possibly have a competition in Green Bay! I would love to sign on and help!
More Robotics has a lot of experience helping out with various Lego and FLL curriculm stuff (we set up and wrote a Lego curriculum for MPS schools last year and continue to help with that). I’ll give the appropriate people your email if that’s okay, and if we can’t help (due to distance etc), we can help you get in contact with people who can.
