We’re excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2025 Wolverine Robotics Competition, hosted by the FIRST Alumni and Mentors Network at Michigan (FAMNM)! This offseason FRC event will take place at Skyline High School in Ann Arbor on Saturday, August 2, with setup on Friday, August 1.
The cost to participate per robot is $200. More information regarding payment will be provided soon. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
Team registration is still open! We are excited to see some great representation both nationally and in the Washtenaw area! Payment information has been sent to teams aswell, if you have any questions or require an invoice please reach out.
We are also looking for more volunteers. If you are a Field Supervisor, Referee, Official Scorer, Field Resetter, or Queuer, we’d love to have you!

If your team hasn’t registered for the 2025 Wolverine Robotics Competition yet, make sure to do so before registration officially closes at 11:59 PM on June 20th. After that, we’ll begin inviting b-bots off the waitlist to fill any remaining spots.

We’re excited to announce there will be judged awards at this year’s Wolverine Robotics Competition!
A panel of judges, including professionals from the robotics industry, as well as University of Michigan Robotics faculty, graduate, and undergraduate students, will be attending to recognize teams with a series of awards. These include:
Sensing Award:
Awarded to the team that demonstrates outstanding ability to sense and interpret their environment.
Reasoning Award:
Awarded to the team whose robot demonstrates strategic and intelligent decision-making tied to both software and mechanical subsystems.
Acting Award
Awarded to the team that demonstrates excellent mechanical design, performance, and reliability.
Community Engagement Award
Awarded to the team with outstanding community engagement through initiatives to drive diversity, equity, and inclusion in their FIRST community.
Wolverine Award
Awarded to the team that most exemplifies the principles advocated for by FIRST and FAMNM. This award comes not only with a trophy, but also with this year’s wolverine mascot.
We will be following district ranking point standards.
