Working with WRS C++ Workbench Presentation

Greetings Fellow C++ Users!

Attached you will find a copy of the presentation that Greg Smith & I gave at the Virginia Region Workshop at VCU on 11/20/10. This presentation provides some of the reasons you should/should not use C++ for your teams and then walks you through the process of creating a C++ project, compiling it, downloading it and debugging it on the cRIO. The presentation also includes a few links to information of interest to C+±oriented teams. It’s got a lot of screen shots, so be patient in the download if you’ve got a slow link.

Enjoy,

Mike

This is awesome! Thanks! This will definitly save me a lot of time relearing the target connection stuff!

You might want to add that you need to change the Kernel image to C:\Windriver\WPIlib\vxWorks otherwise you get no connection and cryptic errors.

Ah yes! The image for the WRS target server. Quite right. I’ll add that to the presentation.

Thanks!

Mike
