WPI Library

Someone on my team screwed up my WPI libraries for Labview… they modified an original VI and for the life of me I can’t get them to reinstall.

Would someone please be willing to send me the entire Joystick library folder?

C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2017\vi.lib\Rock Robotics\WPI\Joystick

.zip it up and email it to me please.

Thanks

You can reinstall the whole wpilib and all of the FRC tools with a download from ni.com/frc (specifically this download)

Tried that just now… it did not replace the files which were modified.
I even went as far as removing the files and then trying the installer again with no luck. Which is why im requesting the files.

Are you sure it installed correctly? I’m fairly certain that installer includes the wpilib files. Make sure that, when the installer asks which files to install, “WPI Library” is checked.

If that doesn’t work, try uninstalling LabVIEW completely and running both the LabVIEW 2017 installer and then the FRC Update Suite again.

I wouldn’t expect running the install on top of an installation to fix the issues. It’ll see the files exist and leave them in place. For I’d expect you’d need to go into the Distributions folder of the Update Suite, run the installers in those directories from the command prompt as: setup.exe /reinstall

That might sound like a hassle. Another option is the uninstall/reinstall option. (or, getting the files from someone here zipped up)
