I’m taking notice of all the differences between WPILib 2023 and 2024. Just curious if neglecting 2024 and deploying all robot code from 2023 version will still allow us to compete. In short, does the code have to be written in the latest WPILib version to be able to connect to the field? Thanks.
The WPILib version isn’t directly restricted, but the roboRIO image version is.
WPILib releases are built for a specific roboRIO image, so you will need to upgrade.
Why exactly do you want to restrict yourself to 2023?
