Wait, so it’s posted on chief now and registration was already closed?

Was there an earlier post on chief?

There wasn’t, as it were, mostly due to lack of having someone to post about it on CD for WRRF until now.

But anyway, CalGames has multiple tiers of registration. The earlier ones are closed, but there’s another one opening July 1st.

Adam and all, yes, we don’t have a publicity chair that would normally do this. Nikita is now our Social Media Lead and offered to post it in CD, as information for larger community (thanks Nikita!). Volunteers, as for most off-season events, are who make CalGames happen and registration was announced before we fully staffed the volunteer leads.

Early registration completely filled with a lottery for most slots on 5/6/14. We announce registration (and updates) to the Northern California community via the WRRF Community Google group to its members. And as another reply stated, open registration begins on 7/1, 12:01 AM. We already have more teams queued for that one where another lottery will ensue next week.

Thanks for your interest in CalGames!
