Just in time for IRI registration, the IndianaFIRST.org is up and running. It has a brand new look, a new way things are organized, and plenty of room for growth. If you have missed the Forums, those are back and ready to be populated.
Many people worked hard to get this website ready to do. Josh Hambright (oneangrydwarf), David Kelly, and Amanda Morrison put in tons of work to give it this timely overhaul. Brandon Martus gave much help to this trio, and then Joe Ross came in to help with statistics gathered from the usfirst.org website.
David Kelly has maintained this site since its inception a few years ago, and all of the Indiana FIRST teams have benefitted over the years. It is great to see this latest version of a valuable site that will be a great tool for Indiana teams.
Thank you to David, Josh, and Amanda for making this happen. Thanks to Brandon and Joe for the assistance. These folks deserve all of this credit for making a great website.
Sincerely,
Andy Baker
President, Indiana FIRST Board of Directors
Thanks Andy for the kind words.
The site still has some sections that need to be finished up, most of it should be up and running within the next few weeks or so.
If anyone has any comments or suggestions you can contact webmaster@indianafirst.org
And a reminder to everyone that IRI registration will open on the site tomorrow at 6pm Indiana Time (Currently we are on Central time).
Okay, the site is done, i can finaly get some sleep right?
All I can say is; WOW.
Very clean - very professional looking.
Great job Josh, David, & Amanda!
Looks great. The web crew is making you look good, El Presidente
I guess this would be a bad time to mention I got a JavaScript error? :-\
Line: 39
Error: Expected '}'
It’s caused by the following line I believe:
window.onload= function(){
I’m running Internet Explorer 6.0 on Windows XP Professional.
Nice website though.
Is it up or not? I still get the “Coming Soon” page.
Actually, the website is up for everyone but Paul Copioli. We forgot to mention that.
We strongly recommend you use Mozilla Firefox for optimum viewing of our site. We are currently working to make it even more IE compatible. Please check back soon for improvements.
Paul it should be up, you may have to clear your cache or refresh the page to get rid of the coming soon page.
I will look into that javascript error, thanks for pointing it out!
Nice. Stick to stuff you know, like calculating Joules for spring stretching problems
I’ll fly someone out there to hit “refresh” for you
The site looks great. Great Job David, Amanda, Josh, and every one else who got it up and running.
One small cosmetic error that I noticed, while using Firefox, is that some of the words in the drop down menus do not fit. Such as “whitepaper” showing as “whitepape” and “Boilermaker Regional” showing as “Boilermak Regional”.
Other then that, everything looks awesome.
Yeah we are aware of these issues, along with some Z-indexing issues, and some other issues with the pop-down menus. We have been working on these for several days, but since atleast its accesible to the point where its useable and you can figure out whats going on, we had to table that in order to fix bigger problems and get other things ready. So expect that to be worked out in the next few days.
