Just getting around to using an Xbox controller under simulation. Driving the sim with the joysticks on the controller works just fine. Button presses, like A or B, also work but not very well. During a sim run I might press the buttons 4 times (for instance) but only two presses are recognized by the robot code. After some testing it seems only half the button presses are recognized.
How are you querying the buttons? (are you using the pressed/released variants?)
Does the DS see the button presses? What about the in-sim DS? What about robot code?
I’m assuming you aren’t stepping/pausing time.
Ah, I’m an idiot at times…found the problem. I was incorrectly interpreting the results I was seeing.
