XRP wifi issues

We have a couple scenarios where we are seeing big issues with XRP wifi access.

  • We are using them with the XRP-WPILib firmware.
  • We are using multiple of them at the same time.
  • We would like to use 10 or so in a classroom setting.

We are seeing very frequent WiFi disconnects. The problems occur even if we only using 2-4 of them at the same time. Does anyone have experience using them in this kind of situation? Any tips for improving the wifi connectivity? As is, it seems they are not at all usable for a classroom activity.

Wi-Fi only has so many unique channels, and the XRPs acting as access points are overwhelming the spectrum. You’ll need to set up a separate access point and configure all XRPs to connect to it by configuring them to STA
