y = ax(2) + bx + c

y = ax(2) + bx + c

Found in an article on www.usfirst.org, linked in the “shipping” post, this equation was found.

It just happens to be the equation for a parabola, what goes up, then falls back down? Most would say, everything, and they would be right…But what I’m hinting at is the 2003 game. Say a robot has to throw, launch or generally heave an object into a raised goal…bringing the topic of projectiles into the game.

Catapult robots…YAY

Errrmmm nice idea but
heavy projectiles-total enclosed arena=disaster
But your right on the dime with the parabola equation being used with projectile motion. Unforunatly my friend just pointed out that you usually use this symbol ^ to raise an item to a power. Could it be a typo?

Umm… This has already been discussed numerous times in different threads. I don’t have the time to look them up right now but maybe you should have.

This just further strengthens the theory about poof products, and footballs.

As jk2005 said – a few other threads talk about this in detail…
