You know you’re in Texas when:
You can drive for 2 days and not leave the state.
You have tumbleweed races.
You make everything bigger just because you can.

You pass 30 “Whataburgers” in one town, or at least one a block. whichever’s more. Starting at the moment you cross the border from Arkansas (but probably from every entrance point in the state).

[edit] My boyfriend took a co-op in Paris, Texas last semester and when he told me he was going to take pictures of the eiffel tower, I didn’t believe him. Sure enough, a few hours later I had pictures of him standing in from of “The Tower”[/edit]
