You're Invited: 7th Annual Unveiling Event hosted by Team 4911 CyberKnights

Greetings from Team 4911 CyberKnights!

For the past six seasons, Team 4911 has hosted a community Unveiling Event at our school, where local FRC teams gather for spaghetti dinner, socializing and to share their robots. With everything being virtual for 2021, the Unveiling Event is going virtual too!

We would like to invite you to our 7th Annual Unveiling Event, Saturday, May 8th, 12 pm - 4 pm PDT on the CyberKnights Twitch and YouTube channels

Normally local PNW teams take the stage, but this year we’re inviting all teams globally to share what they’ve been working on! Teams are invited to submit a video about their work this season to be shared on stream. In place of our traditional dessert potluck, we’re also encouraging teams to share your best dessert designs! (This is optional, but submit your dessert design-- whether it be a photo, sketch, or CAD design-- by May 7th.)

Each team will have up to 7 minutes to show their content within a video presentation. Since teams have focused on different challenges this season, video content could include any or all work from the 2021 Challenges and/or additional team projects from this year. Video submissions are due no later than Friday, April 23rd.

If teams would like to present content about the At-Home Skills Challenges, they could include their robot (whole or parts), CAD designs, or a clip of their robot in-action. Those interested in showing their Global Innovation Challenge work could submit their Business Proposal video or give their “live” presentation. Teams who developed an idea for the Game Design Challenge could display their field map and notable game elements whilst explaining their game.

To RSVP or get more information, please fill out this survey:

If you cannot make it, we will have the livestream recorded and available on our website/social media. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at Hope to see you on the stream!

It’s almost time! We have 5 PNW teams showing off their IR@Home Robots, as well as some Game Design and Global Innovation challenge entries. Two of our teams will also be giving live interviews and taking audience questions about their challenge entries and overall 2021 seasons.

Join us Saturday May 8th at 12 Noon PDT on Twitch or YouTube for an hour and a half of cool robots!
