Zombies on a Plane?

So I was browsing through SnakesOnABlog.com the other day, and came across this post about a new movie coming out called Plane Dead.

The official movie website is here.

I dunno about you, but this movie is just asking to be called ZOMBIES ON A PLANE!

Edit: a review for the movie can be read here.

Sounds similar to ‘Dawn of the Dead’ except instead of a mall they’re trapped on a plane.

The genre is so tired, its dead. They really need to put this one to rest. They’ve really driven it into the ground. Stop it with the Zombies!

Excuse me, but anything with Zombies is already on the positive scale, as it has FRIGGIN ZOMBIES!!!

That’s why I’m expecting this movie to be amazing. In the review I linked to in my earlier post, it said that is was even more over the top and campy than SoaP.

(SoaP x 10) + ZOMBIES = BEST MOVIE EVER.

I don’t get the whole x 10 thing…I highly doubt this will be THAT good. I mean…Snakes on a Plane had friggin SNAKES on a PLANE! If you subtract the snakes, you just get Samuel L. Jackson on a plane, which isn’t bad, don’t get me wrong; but you lose the whole effect of the snakes. Snakes are worth 20 cool points. Zombies on the other hand, are worth 30 cool points. So really, the equation SHOULD be

Snakes on a Plane - Snakes + Zombies = a better movie than snakes on a plane.

It is 10 points cooler.

The equation must be revised yet again, however because Samuel L. Jackson isn’t in Zombies on a Plane, but then again, Plane Dead has Erick Avari (Most well known as the old guy in Mr. Deeds). Samuel L. Jackson is 15 points cooler than he is, I’m sorry to say. With that said, the revision becomes:

Snakes on a Plane - Snakes + Zombies - Samuel L. Jackson + Erick Avari = Snakes on a Plane - 20 + 30 - 15 + 0 = Snakes on a Plane - 5. With that, we should all come to the consensus that Plane Dead will be a little bit worse than Snakes on a Plane.

Sorry but you seem to have made an error.
Snakes have a cool value of 20, yes this much is true but, zombies have a cool value of 40. Ever since the dawn/shaun of the dead era zombies have gone up dramatically in cool points. (Stubbs) So fixing your equation that gives us
Snakes on a plane - 20 + 40 -15 + 0 = SOAP + 5
Plane Dead will be cooler than SOAP but most definitely not funnier.

To calculate comedy we use (N/S)^3 + I(P/N) + O(S) = Comedy Level
N = number of laughs, I = number of ironic situations, P = Puns or scenes funny due bad acting/errors, O = funny one liners, S = funny scenes

Ceterum censeo Carthaginem esse delendam!

Ah, but you cannot yet calculate the comedy level of ZoaP because none of us have seen it yet. There could be a great deal of one liners or scenes that are funny due to bad acting/errors. In the review, it states that ZoaP is even moar over the top than SoaP, which must be accounted for. In most cases over the top = pretty @#@#@#@# funny.

All this movie needs is Chuck Norris (for the kick-@#@#$@# factor). Or Ellen Degeneres (for the intentional funny factor). Whichever.

I hate to say this, but Chuck Norris isn’t cool anymore. Ever since the return of everyone thinking he was cool, he became uncool…if that makes since. Once he gained popularity again, we became uncool…that’s it.

If you went to the opening night of Snakes on a Plane the audience was really fun. So you have to factor in that. um I don’t know ^2?

I like Zombies… and Planes… I would go.
