For what it is worth, Vex did not have a booth at Worlds this year either. Why I don’t know, but a little strange since it was practically in their backyard.

As to FIRST’s response, it is highly likely they have previous contracts still in effect that state they can not say anything negative about the other company, which is why it is worded so carefully. This is common business practice from what I understand, and the company I work for has such contracts which has made it difficult to say what I wanted to say about some not so great partner companies, so I know these contracts often exist, though I do not know for sure if there is one in this case.
If there is legal action at some point, they could testify with the truth I believe, but without legal action they likely can not say anything without breaking a contract and opening themselves up to a law suite.

I thought the same thing when the date was 2021. Makes me think someone knew something already or it could just be a coincidence.
Another interpretation is that FIRST was tired of their relationship with IFI for business reasons, and had nothing to do with management/employee relations.
